Brookside Golf and Country Club

Just a Chip Shot from the Rose Bowl

Located in the shadows of the San Gabriel Mountains adjacent to the world famous Rose Bowl, the City of Pasadena's beautiful Brookside Golf Club offers an outstanding combination: Two of the best daily fee layouts not only in Los Angeles but in all of Southern California.

Golf at Brookside Golf Club

Designed by famed golf architect William P. Bell, the Brookside Golf Club boasts a 75 year golf tradition. The 36-hole complex is the oldest golf course in Los Angeles County and situated in the golden foothills of Pasadena next to the famed Rose Bowl. Regularly rated one of the top 15 golf courses in California, Brookside served as home to the Los Angeles Open in 1968, which was won by Billy Casper. It has also hosted the National Publinks Championship. Owned by the city of Pasadena, Brookside Golf Club features two 18-hole tracks: the C.W. Koiner Course, a par 72 measuring 7,104 yards, and the E.O. Nay Course, a par 70 measuring 6,025 yards. To hone your game, the facilities also include: the John Wells Pro Shop, two practice putting greens, a chipping area, practice bunker and a driving range providing everything you need for an exceptional golf experience.

Enjoy an Incredible Dining Experience

Located on Brookside Golf Club's expansive grounds, Brookside Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Open to the public daily, the restaurant offers panoramic views of the surrounding San Gabriel mountains, manicured greens, and fairways lined with mature, majestic eucalyptus, pines and oaks. The fare is simple and delicious—housemade burgers, fresh fish, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers—we offer something for everyone. Enjoy a bloody mary with breakfast or a cold beer with lunch. Relax near our fireplace or head out to the patio and watch the golfers out on the course.

Annandale Golf Club

“We are not looking for new members, but we are ALWAYS looking for new friends!”

This quote captures the spirit of Annandale Golf Club, the nature of our Club, the character of its activities and the mission of our membership. New members provide invaluable vitality and fresh enthusiasm, and help to support our club's unique culture.

Membership is by invitation only. It is a commitment of our present members that this tradition is worth the extra effort, and is a process that our new members respect, honor and perpetuate.

Annandale enjoys high levels of quality and professionalism in everything we do, with a focus on welcoming candidates with interests and backgrounds compatible with the backgrounds and interests of the individuals who make up our club membership. We seek members whose character, manner and demeanor will insure social compatibility within the club, and we seek to avoid concentrations of members in particular professions or areas of interest.

We encourage our members to share the special Annandale experience, as “we are always looking for new friends!” That is the nature of our membership and our club.

The 6,612 yard golf course was originally designed by William Watson and Bill Bell.

In 2007, Golf Magazine's 1999 Renovation Architect of the Year, Brian Silva, directed a major renovation of the course. Eight years later, the Club conducted another significant transformation in order to create a more eco-friendly and water-wise course.

More than 18 acres of turf were removed to enhance the beauty and natural surroundings of the golf course. This allowed for better framing of each hole while creating wide sweeping vistas of the course throughout the round. We believe you will find Annandale to be one of the most beautiful and best conditioned courses you will play.

Members and guests of all golfing proficiencies will find the course appealing with various tee combinations, unique bunkering and challenging putting surfaces. These features contribute to a fantastic golf experience that members and their guests will enjoy for generations to come.

Annandale's dining experience is second to none in Pasadena.

Whether enjoying a family dinner or special event on the Lawn, or dining at sunset on the Commons overlooking the 18th green or in the relaxed Bistro environment in the Club's newly renovated Grill Room or Library, Annandale offers its members and their guests a dining experience for any occasion. Dining choices include both innovative contemporary cuisine as well as traditional Annandale favorites, each tailored to personal preference. Each week reveals seasonally inspired dining choices or events. Especially popular are Annandale's world-class wine dinners, summer al fresco dining, family holiday events, specialty theme nights and the annual western barbecue complete with a live country-western band. The dining experience is enhanced by an extensive wine list and impeccable and friendly service of a professional staff that know the membership by name, creates an exceptional gourmet dining experience.
